Would you like us to review you?

Why?

No, really, WHY? Are you a masochist? Does pain feel good to you? Need someone to reinforce your low self esteem?

Well, okay then. We can accommodate that.

The rules are simple:

1. We're under no obligation to review everything sent to us. This means exactly what it sounds like. We might get the book and decide it's not something we feel strongly about either way to review, or we might be too busy, or we might find out you're a serial killer and don't want to be associated with you. It also might take awhile to review your book as Lisa's busy trying to get into NASA and Inga is frequently passed out drunk in the closet while hiding from her children.

2. Our reviews are our opinions and are entirely honest. We receive no payments or anything extra for our reviews. There is no special treatment, no bribery--no, not even if you bring us coffee (though don't let that stop you).

3. We're open to all genres, trad pubbed, self pubbed, or in between. Lisa prefers chick-lit, contemp, paranormal, thrillers, crime, and LGBT. Inga has no preference, as she likes a bit of everything and, in turn, hates everything. If you'd like to submit work to a specific reviewer, please let us know in your email.

4. We take harassing emails from authors very seriously. And by "seriously" I mean we reserve the right to post your email and contact information in its entirety to our blog for public mocking. So really, go ahead. Send us hate mail. Then we can make a special hate mail graphic and turn it into a regular blog feature.

5. We post our reviews to GoodReads as well as the blog.  We may post to other sites at our discretion.

6. We're open to author interviews and guest blogs. Probably. We don't have any yet, but it can't hurt.

Does that all sound good? Yeah, we don't care. Anyway, here's how to submit something for review:

Send an email with the subject line "Review Request". Include some enticing details in the email, such as genre, publisher, your website link, and the blurb of the work you're requesting a review for. You can send the book along directly if you like or wait until you receive confirmation from us. PDF is universal. Inga can take a MOBI or EPUB.
